Here I Come!!!

Well... I guess we can say that our baby girl is OFFICIALLY WALKING?!?!
Although Sailer took her first steps weeks ago, she has taken off today, it seems. This morning, she was up to about 5-6 steps, and by this afternoon, she had taken 11 steps!!! She even took a few steps one way, turned around, and walked a few steps the other way! This was the only picture that I could get...it's not the best, but you can see how excited she is about her new adventure in walking! For the most part, she gets SO excited that she laughs and knocks herself over from laughing....which is the cutest thing ever. But, when she focuses, she can walk with great coordination and skill. We are so proud of her...and a little sad too. I guess it's good timing though..since her birthday party is next weekend. It's so hard to believe that ONE WEEK from TODAY, Sailer will be ONE! More pics to come....

Hangin' Out....

This is what the kids do on a typical day...while I'm cleaning, writing bills, doing laundry, or a few school things. It's so great to see them interacting so well. They really are GREAT friends, and each other's biggest fan! This is Sailer's usual spot...the playroom floor. She pretends to read her book as she watches Baby Einstein videos. She LOVES LOVES LOVES her Baby Einstein videos....seriously. She watches them through from start to finish, which is 30 minutes...she has a VERY long attention span for her age! :)

Wrestling with Noah...poor thing...she just goes along for the ride...no matter how rough!!!

Still rollin'....Noah looks happy, but poor Sailer just looks plain scared!

Sailer watches Noah so intently...she wants to do everything he does!
He likes for her to clap with him.

This is what Sailer does when she's tired. She literally stops right where she is and lays down. Today, she laid in the doorway....she'll just lay there and wait for me to come get her. She's pretty spoiled. :)

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

To no one's surprise I'm sure, Noah and I made cupcakes for St. Patty's Day! I wanted something different, so we made lemon cupcakes with marshmallow fluff icing with green sugar sprinkles! YUMMY! I have to say...they were good! Noah was a little upset that his cupcake buddies weren't coming over (Layla or Emma), but he still devoured his cupcake....:)

A GREAT way to avoid getting too sticky....Noah came up with this on his own!!! :)

More On St. Patty's Day...

All eyes....:)

Check out my top two teeth! They are HUGE!

Kisses from Noah! :)

That's it! I've had it! Hahahaha! (When I cleaned Sailer's tray, she realized that her cupcake, or what was left of it, was gone. Oooooohhhh no.....she was NOT happy! She ripped out her bow and started screaming! Whew...little Ms. Attitude!)

Noah's New Haircut :)

Once again, these pictures are backward, but here are a few pics taken of the kids at Pigtails & Crewcuts...Noah's little hair salon :) He got a new haircut on St. Patty's Day. It is much shorter and is layered...I thought it was time for something new. Sailer loves tagging along whenever we get Noah's hair cut b/c she gets to play in the kid's room and WALK...as you can see below. She has REALLY taken off this week! Go Sailer!!!

Putting a puzzle together...

Silly girl!

My Sweet & Handsome Boy!

SOOOO grown up....his hair actually looks better than in this picture, but they had put product in it, so it looked flat and it was stiff as a board! Haha!

Our Lovely Weather :)

The past few days have been fantastic for me and my beautiful loves! :) This weather makes me want to stay outside all day long! It is just beautiful, and we wanted to soak it up since we never know how long it will last and IF it will get cold again, so....here are a few pics of our visit to Cold Stone and our perfect stroll! :) It was such a relaxing and fun day! My only complaint is that it was VERY difficult to get Noah to leave the toy store! I had to use reverse psychology to lure him to the door...I'm getting really good at this! :)

Watching all of the cars go by...of course, every few minutes, she would turn her head to taste her strawberry ice cream with sprinkles! :) I think both of the kids really enjoyed getting out without having to bundle up! It was a perfect day!

More pictures from our lovely day....

Such a yummy treat!!! Mmmmmmm!

Fun at the Park & New Seats :)

Over the weekend, Noah and Sailer visited the park with Nene and I...it was fun. We are SOOO enjoying this glorious weather. We do not want it to end!

Watching Noah swing with Nene :)

Last week, it became clear that we could no longer stuff our little princess in her carseat...she is way too big for it! So, as an early birthday gift, she finally got a new booster seat, which is super girly AND matches my car! (I know...kinda ridiculous that I think of this!) Let me tell you...this baby girl LOVED the sights! She was so fascinated with looking around..we could NOT get her to look at the camera, so here ya go. She still is precious though.

And, of course, it was time for Noah to upgrade to his new seat too! It's basically a "older version" of a booster seat, but SOOOO much easier to take in and out. Isn't he handsome??? (And, this one matches my car too..hehe!)

Sailer's FIRST Ice Cream Cone :)

Sorry..these pics are kinda backwards...this picture is of Sailer finishing her first ice cream cone....well....this was her first ice cream cone AT HOME. She actually enjoyed her first cone at Dede and Big Daddy's house over the weekend, but since I didn't get to see her eat it, I wanted to see her really eat one...I couldn't believe it. She gobbled it up like a pro! I didn't even help her! :) She held it herself and it was gone in about 2 minutes! :)

Sweet baby girl...and, not even too messy! I was impressed.

Oooooo...this is great!

What do we have here???

Hangin' At Our House...

Would you go out like this? This is how Noah dressed himself the other day when we were going out for errands....oh. my. gosh. NO way...don't worry...I MADE him change. What am I going to do with this boy???
Crusin' around the furniture...Sailer could really do this ALL day...

One week ago, there was snow on the ground...this picture was taken Sunday....now, Sailer is in a bubble suit...Georgia weather is so finicky!

Watching the tube with the boys....and smiling at mommy :)

Just Peachy :)

These are just too cute & funny not to post...I have to say, I've been having a hard time getting Sailer to eat anything that she can't feed herself. So, when it came to eating peaches today after lunch, she insisted on feeding herself....ugh. She ended up styling her hair with peach juice! Since she is right-handed, the whole right side of her head was slicked down with peach juice...it was everywhere! Rather than clean her up, we headed straight for the bathtub. It's hopeless!
Real slick Sailer....:)
Is this how princesses eat???

Who needs styling gel when you have peach juice?

Loving it...look at those little stained cheeks...gives new meaning to peachy clean, huh?

Oops! She discovered her crown...and doesn't like it very much! :)

A Snowy Surprise!!!

Wow! We can't believe that it actually snowed...A LOT! Usually, the forecasters are wrong when they predict snow, so we were overjoyed to see it fall. The kids have been under the weather for the past week or so, so we only went out for a bit to let them "see" and experience the snow. Since the kids were sick, we missed 2 birthday parties, which explains why Noah is a pirate in this picture. Ms. Allix Byars turned 3, and she sent some party favors home with daddy (Allix's dad and Jason work together), and since she had a Pirates and Princesses party, Noah and Sailer got some super cute accessories and toys! Thank you Allix! As you can see, Noah LOVED his pirate get-up....
Kinda weird...it looks like Noah is cutting his head! Eeww....
Snow!!!

This is about as close as Sailer got to the snow...she gazed out at our doggies as they sloshed around in it...she seemed pretty unimpressed actually :)

My two loves getting ready to run errands with me...I love them so much!

Tiny Dancer :)

These pics were taken yesterday...Sailer turned 11 months old a few days ago, and these pics sum up her little personality...serious at times, but playful, shy, and angelic. I am so much in love with this girl...can you tell? :)
I love pillows, especially resting my little head on them....
Sometimes, I get a little shy and hide my face :)

Playing with my play pearls....and sitting in my pink silk bloomers....:)

My version of a twirl....

Trying to wave to mommy...and finally wearing my pearls! :) **Thanks to Allix Byars for a wonderful party favor! :)
