Hi Friends! Come along on our Christmas Journey with us!
It all began with a special evening at the beautiful Atlantic Station in late November for the lighting of the great Christmas tree...what a fun-filled night with Christmas carols & a special SNOW shower for the kids!

My beautiful family of 4!!!!

.....then, an extra special picture of the Pendley grandchildren on Thanksgiving Day.....how sweet are they??? So much laughter & giggles!

And, of course, Big Daddy & DD joined in on the fun too! What a special memory!

~FAMILY!!!!!~

And, what is a Christmas holiday season without hot cocoa????

....and, a special note for Santa???

...and sweet children who are always on Santa's good list???

Sweet girl with the sweetest intentions of saying..I Love You Santa....but, all she got was the "I." :)

So, mommy was kind enough to trace her hand so she could give Santa a high-five!

And, what is a Christmas holiday season without gorgeous cards displayed from treasured friends & family???

...and, yummy cookies made by Santa's biggest fans???

This Santa fellow must have been happy to find such sweet notes, yummy M&M cookies and soy milk....(Noah's choice...:)...don't you think?

So much so that he came in a BIG way!!!!

Lots of books and games and toys for my sweet little girl & boy....

And, special gingerbread girl and boy PJ's made especially by Santa and his helper, Lindsey...:)

Are you surprised this girl likes princess lip gloss? She IS my child, you know!

Getting right to work....

...and, twirling a prissy twirl in her Pinkalicious dress and shoes....

And, another tradition that make the Christmas season complete? A Gingerbread house! Now, that's neat! :)

And, did you know that big brother Noah is the best instructor...and, little sister Sailer is the best listener? She really is! She adores her Noah and learns so much from him!

Ta-da!

Mommy thought it'd be a good idea to take a picture in front of the tree....the plan? Sailer would hold up 2 fingers since she is TWO. Noah would hold up 5 b/c he is FIVE.

But...mommy forgot that Sailer has been spending too much time around Daddy...meaning she gives the ghetto peace sign...not a typical "I'm 2 sign." Ahhhh.....

And, mommy also forgot how silly Noah becomes when it's picture-taking time....

or how cheesy these two become...which is okay. Mommy will settle for cheesy if she has to:)

Another stop on our Christmas journey??? Christmas Eve at Grandmama & Poppa's house, of course!

Another twirl from our princess.....she instantly becomes a princess when I put a tutu on her....she even said that if I put on a poofy dress, I can be a princess too! :) Sweet girl:)

And, WHY do children want to jump and play around dangerous things???? Not sure, but this was worth posting....

Another lip gloss break....

And...Santa, if you're reading this....I promise...our Noah really WOULD make the best elf! He is such a great helper!

I find myself wondering....how did my boy grow up SO fast????

Uncle Chad was such a sweet helper to our girl...anything to make these girls happy! :)

Merry Christmas morn from our happy little Gingerbread boy & girl!

Mommy was happy toooooo!

The sweetest present you'll ever find....

....and, the most serious present-opener you'll ever see...

A super-sized Buzz Lightyear for our SUPER big boy!

...and, a special American Girl of the Year for our most favorite girl!

Love at first sight for our girl and her curly-haired friend...Lanie:)

And, did you know that Lanie rides horses? She does, and Sailer has the horse to prove it! Only...she thinks it's HER horse to ride....:P

Another flying object in our house....here we gooooooo!

And, since our family cooks such great meals at Christmastime, this will be my new best buddy in 2011! :)

Now, you already know my kids can be cheesy, right? Here's a duplicate post....just in case you forgot...lol. J/K! Guess I got carried away with this one....

Kristin & I with our Santa purses and Dora stockings for our girls....needless to say, we LOVE this stuff!

Such fortunate children to have yet another stop from Santa....Nene & Paw-Paw's house! They're still going strong....about 6 hours in on Christmas Day! Check out these huge bean bags!

..and, a special Dora big wheel for our girl....with her name:) Thanks Uncle Cody!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!!!! Thank you for these two extraordinary blessings!

And, thank you for the blanket of white that covered our home on Christmas Day! This girl loved it!

And, this boy was in heaven as he threw snowballs at mommy as she watched from the front door! Special times!

Love, Love, Love!

Brother & Sister :)

Gotta touch the snow one more time mommy! Such sweetness....Mommy can hardly stand it!
Friends~ My prayer is that you feel as blessed as we do this Merry & Bright season! While the last few days are a bit of a blur, I am trying as much as possible to remember and thank Jesus for the blessing of his birth and what that means for us and our children. It's easy to get caught up in giving and receiving....I'm guilty of it just like all of you. But, Christmas is about our Savior's birth....that's it. Our kids should know that....they should celebrate it. I wanted to close this post with a special poem that was on Sailer's placemat that she made for Christmas at preschool. I like this version of the Christmas story.....
The First Christmas
One winter night, so calm and still
As shepherds watched upon a hill,
They heard the angel-voices sing
About a Holy infant King.
Three wise men saw a star grow bright,
And shed a strange and wondrous light.
They followed where its brightness led
And found a holy manger-bed.
And there the lovely Christ-Child lay
Upon the soft and scented hay.
The wise men bowed their heads in awe
At what they heard, at what they saw.
The story traveled far and wide
About Judea's countryside.
And that's the way the people know
A babe was born so long ago.
~Merry Christmas to all! God Bless!~
