Time Out!!!

Hi Friends~ Don't take the title of this post too seriously....no, Noah & Sailer were not in "time out" this week....rather, we ALL took a little time out for Spring Break! Yippee! I mentioned this in a previous post, but our family really needed this. Personally, I felt as if life had taken over, and I wasn't able to catch-up...on anything. Now, I feel a bit more organized....mentally and emotionally even. It was sooooo nice to sleep in a little, have late breakfasts, watch the kids play outside, watch movies in the middle of the day, drive thru DQ at 8 p.m. & not worry about school the next day, clean house, finish a few projects, plan our summer vacation, visit family, and have a perfect day at one of our favorite places....the ZOO!!! Here are some pictures below of our fun trip! Hope you all had a break as wonderful as ours!!!
Mr. Panda & Ms. Butterfly :) Aren't they cute???
Baby girl enjoying herself sooo much!
My most favorite boy in the whole world! I sooo enjoyed having Noah home this week. He is a complete joy to my heart!
Mom~ these flamingoes are stinky!!!!
Pretty girl :)
Sorry....duplicate post....you know me...I get carried away with these updates sometimes :)
The Children's Petting Zoo is always a treat....the kids LOVE animals of every kind!
And, we always have to make a stop at the carousel, of course!
Vulture! These birds freak me out!
Did you know that elephants had eyelashes this long???? Wow!
And, have you ever seen the inside of an elephant's mouth?
Noah & I were sad that our favorite exhibit was so boring this time....this is all the lions were doing....:( Better luck next time....
Still happy though!
I love all of God's creatures, but pigs are just gross! This one was snorting so loud....the kids loved it....I was disgusted...
The twins....daddy & Sailer :)

Monkeys get in the most awkward positions....wouldn't this hurt your arm???
For some reason, Noah thought this gorilla was so hilarious with the leaf in his mouth....he definitely was putting on a show for us!

The lemurs! (they were obviously trying to get warm in the sun....it was chilly!)
Sweet thang!
Where's Noah???? Our boy is such a goofball! He makes our family time sooo much fun!
To our surprise, one of the "Where the Wild Things Are" characters was visiting the park when we left....Sailer was more anxious to get to him than Noah was.....she is really coming out of her shell lately!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! We cannot wait to go back!

Easter F-U-N!!!

What a glorious Easter weekend we had! And, what a perfect start to a lovely Spring Break week for us! We really needed this break to focus on our family, catch up on household chores, and to plan our Spring and Summer. I have a longer post coming soon, but, for now, I'd like to share our Easter and Spring photos with you all.....enjoy! :) BTW~ these pictures are from several Easter Egg Hunts....at Noah's school, at Jason's grandparents, at my parent's house, and at Jason's parent's house. When you have kids, there is no such thing as too many egg hunts, I suppose :) Last, I included pictures of Noah's Spring Soccer season. He's doing GREAT & loving every minute of soccer! Gooooo Noah! :)
Thanks to all our friends and JPP supporters for coming to K Mike Whittle Designs Easter weekend for pictures! The shop was gorgeous and the company was perfect!
Noah's class anxiously lined up for the egg hunt! Jason and I arrived early to help hide the eggs....all 450 of them! It was fun!
And, Sailer sure loved helping!
It's almost time! The kids were bursting with excitement!
Found one!

The class lined up for a photo op....so sweet :)
Watching the kids play on this merry go round made me a nervous wreck! They are fearless at this age!
My lovely little girl after Easter lunch at Poppa's and Granmama's house....
She was so excited....she kept running over to me to show me her basket!

Noah was right in the middle of all the chaos for the 3/4 year old egg hunt at church! During Noah's hunt, Sailer & I were across campus at the 1/2 year old egg hunt. So glad Daddy was able to join us for the Easter festivities this year! How would I do it alone???

There were plenty of fun inflatables!

So happy!
There she goes!
Walking around with mommy.....

It didn't take long for Sailer to realize that eggs are filled with yummy candy! And, she wanted some right away!

Are you kidding me Noah? Did you leave any for your sister??? lol!
The newest addition to the Pendley family....Ms. Sophie :) She is Poppa's and Granmama's new puppy!
Dede & Big Daddy with Sailer & Noah.....it was SOOOO hot, and the kids were flushed! They got their first little tan out in the Easter sun!
**This is what happens to the eggs that we took so much time to dye....we don't eat them. We launch them!!! Warning: Don't try this at home!
MORE eggs at Nene's and Paw-Paw's.....which means more candy for momma to hide from the kids.....
Sailer would NOT let go of her Dora egg!
Paw-Paw consoling Sailer about something....who knows what....she is ultra sensitive these days :)
This almost gave me a heart attack! Noah wanted so badly to ride my brother's motorcycle! I told him "never in a million years!"

Maddie joined us for our last hunt! She quickly found a marshmallow egg & put it in her basket!

Giving a little kiss to mommy.....
Wanna see my pretty legs??? Ha! This girl cracks me up!
