Hi Friends~ Don't take the title of this post too seriously....no, Noah & Sailer were not in "time out" this week....rather, we ALL took a little time out for Spring Break! Yippee! I mentioned this in a previous post, but our family really needed this. Personally, I felt as if life had taken over, and I wasn't able to catch-up...on anything. Now, I feel a bit more organized....mentally and emotionally even. It was sooooo nice to sleep in a little, have late breakfasts, watch the kids play outside, watch movies in the middle of the day, drive thru DQ at 8 p.m. & not worry about school the next day, clean house, finish a few projects, plan our summer vacation, visit family, and have a perfect day at one of our favorite places....the ZOO!!! Here are some pictures below of our fun trip! Hope you all had a break as wonderful as ours!!!
Mr. Panda & Ms. Butterfly :) Aren't they cute???
Baby girl enjoying herself sooo much!
My most favorite boy in the whole world! I sooo enjoyed having Noah home this week. He is a complete joy to my heart!
Mom~ these flamingoes are stinky!!!!
Pretty girl :)
Sorry....duplicate post....you know me...I get carried away with these updates sometimes :)
The Children's Petting Zoo is always a treat....the kids LOVE animals of every kind!
And, we always have to make a stop at the carousel, of course!
Vulture! These birds freak me out!
Did you know that elephants had eyelashes this long???? Wow!
And, have you ever seen the inside of an elephant's mouth?
Noah & I were sad that our favorite exhibit was so boring this time....this is all the lions were doing....:( Better luck next time....
Still happy though!
I love all of God's creatures, but pigs are just gross! This one was snorting so loud....the kids loved it....I was disgusted...
The twins....daddy & Sailer :)
Monkeys get in the most awkward positions....wouldn't this hurt your arm???
For some reason, Noah thought this gorilla was so hilarious with the leaf in his mouth....he definitely was putting on a show for us!
The lemurs! (they were obviously trying to get warm in the sun....it was chilly!)
Sweet thang!
Where's Noah???? Our boy is such a goofball! He makes our family time sooo much fun!
To our surprise, one of the "Where the Wild Things Are" characters was visiting the park when we left....Sailer was more anxious to get to him than Noah was.....she is really coming out of her shell lately! Hope you enjoyed the pictures! We cannot wait to go back!
