Happy 2nd Birthday to our Fairy Princess...Sailer!

Hi Friends!!!! Our little girl is TWO!!!!! Sailer's official birthday was Friday, the 26th, but yesterday was our day of celebration for her. Thank you Jesus for blessing us with the splendor of Spring....sunny skies and happy faces! It was magical....just like a dream. As you may guess, we have TONS & TONS of pictures.....so much so, I've divided this post into 3!

We adore all of you who shared with us.....but, I must mention two individuals that went above and beyond to make Sailer's day unforgettable. First, Lindsey Langhans, owner of Sugar Britches Kids, came to my rescue earlier in the week when I found out at the LAST minute that Sailer's birthday dress would not come in time for her party....eek! To say that I freaked out was putting it nicely...especially when I ordered it FIVE weeks ago! Anyway, with two days notice, Lindsey made the most beautiful and amazingly delicate tutu dress for Sailer. You'll see it hanging in the first picture below. Lindsey, I adore you....you are an artist when it comes to design and clothes. Thank you for coming to my rescue!!!! I was so proud to dress Sailer in such a beautiful, gorgeous creation of yours!

Secondly, I must thank Mike Whittle, with Mike Whittle Designs in Marietta. Jason has been working with Mike for awhile now...Mike is a florist and designer with 20+ years experience in this industry. For Sailer's party, Mike spent hours at my in-laws house, creating the most gorgeous display of whimsical creations and decor I've ever seen! I was completely blown away by his attention to detail....it certainly created the garden fairy type of atmosphere I was dreaming of. Jason took some special pictures of his designs below....I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends and family that care enough to help make our parties so special! Jason & I love you dearly!!!!

And....a special balloon arch for when our guests arrived!!!!

Meeting Tinkerbell!!!!

Drum roll please.....our special guest for the party is the world's ultimate fairy....Tinkerbell! Can you believe she took time from her fairy busy schedule to present me with a birthday crown, paint faces, and make balloons for my friends and I? What a nice fairy she is...and beautiful too!!!

About 30 minutes after the party started, I was able to quietly sneak upstairs to meet Tinkerbell....in the meantime, Jason was gathering all of the kids outside so that Tinkerbell could walk down the stone stairs and surprise them! It was perfect! I think Sailer would have been just as happy to see Elmo or Mickey Mouse honestly.....but, this was just he perfect touch for a perfect fairy party....so, I had to invite Tinkerbell :)

Tinkerbell was an AMAZING face painter! She painted flowers, spiderwebs, bunnies, vines, butterflies, and more! Then, she topped them off with a sprinkle of fairy dust, of course!!! All of our fairies were shining and beaming!
Charlotte decided to get a special painting on her arm....it was adorable and matched her tulip fairy dress perfectly!
Claire was very patient as Tinkerbell adorned her little cheek with a perfect little flower!
Emma decided to get a full face paint!!! She magically became an adorable little bunny!!!
And...was very happy about it!
What a beautiful butterfly to match Fairy Kylie's blue eyes!
And, how about a squiggly vine with flowers to match Fairy Anna's tights???? Splendid!
And, wouldn't you know my boy would end up with some sort of spider something on his cheek!!! No surprise here!
I was giddy to meet Tinkerbell too!!! After all, she is tattooed on my back...:)
